As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, Skye Alexandra House is hosting a special online event to raise awareness within the church community on how Christians can create safe spaces for women and girls to speak out, get help, and heal from sexual, emotional, and physical violence.
This event will feature a powerful panel of experts who will explore biblical perspectives on women who were cherished by Jesus. Together, we will reflect on the question:Â "Am I my sister's keeper?"Â The panel will also address the difference between spiritual and psychological warfare in the aftermath of domestic and sexual violence, and discuss practical ways to support women and girls in their healing journey through available resources.
