Our Community Get To Know Us Better

At Skye Alexandra House, we do more than host events—we create safe spaces where women and girls can feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether in person or online, our support groups foster connection, understanding, and community.

Survivors use these spaces to share their experiences in ways that feel right to them. Furthermore, they gain encouragement, healing tools, and a sense of belonging. Ultimately, each group promotes safety and trust.

Our trained facilitators build every group with care, using trauma-informed approaches tailored to diverse needs. In addition, we aim to empower each participant on their journey toward healing.

Am I My Sister’s Keeper

Our recent event, Am I My Sister’s Keeper, offered a Christian response to gender-based violence. It addressed how churches can become safer spaces where women and girls feel empowered to speak out.

We also explored how survivors can begin healing from sexual, emotional, and physical violence. As a result, the event sparked essential conversations and inspired lasting change within faith communities.

Membership

We’re developing a verified membership system for young women and girls. Through this platform, members will gain access to exclusive offers and services from trusted partner organisations.

Each offer is thoughtfully designed to support survivors—whether through practical help, emotional support, or personal growth opportunities. For example, members might access wellness sessions, advocacy support, or community events.

Because of the potential impact, we’re excited to share more details about the launch very soon.
