Her Voice
Her Voice

"HER VOICE", a symposium focused on providing a comprehensive understanding of the impact of sexual violence on women and girls.
Join us for "HER VOICE," presented by Skye Alexandra House in Partnership with London Metropolitan University, as we align with this year's global theme for International Women's Day: "Count Her In: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment."
This event is dedicated to shedding light on the hurdles faced by women and girls who have endured sexual violence, which often becomes a barrier to their educational, professional, and daily endeavors due to the enduring effects of trauma. Our aim is to raise awareness about these challenges and explore strategies to best support survivors on their journey to healing. By empowering them to confront their trauma, regain confidence, and pursue their aspirations, we strive to facilitate their access to education and employment opportunities.
This in-person event is all about celebrating women's empowerment, sharing stories, and fostering connections. Get ready for a day filled with powerful speakers, engaging workshops, fashion show, poetry and thought-provoking discussions. Let's come together to uplift, inspire, and amplify HER VOICE! #InspireInclusion #ViolenceAgainstWomenandGirls #SkyeAlexandraHouse #LondonMet #InternationalWomensDay
